The cavalry lance is built for one purpose: the first strike of a charge. Its length keeps the wielder safely beyond a defender’s blade, and the horse’s momentum drives the point home.
Charge bonus: +1 WR (effective WR 5) on the first attack of a mounted charge against a target the lance reaches at full speed.

Reach
Effect: Can attack targets up to 3m away; +1 TN to attack targets at Point-Blank.
Reach weapons trade close-quarters utility for extended striking distance. Spears, lances, and polearms can keep enemies at bay but become awkward when an opponent closes inside the weapon’s optimal range.
Mounted Only
Effect: Can only be used effectively from horseback.
Mounted-Only weapons rely on the horse’s momentum and the rider’s elevated position for their effect. The Cavalry Lance is the iconic example. Used on foot, these weapons function poorly or not at all.
