The sledgehammer is the Muck-Raker’s signature weapon — a tool of industry turned to violence when the work is finished and the grievances aren’t. Slow, but devastating against armor and bone alike.

Breaker

Effect: Armor Piercing 1 — Ignore 1 point of Armor Rating.

Breaker weapons concentrate force into a small area on impact, punching through armor that would deflect a less focused attack. Reduces the target’s effective Armor Rating by 1 for damage calculation. Cannot reduce AR below 0.

Two-Handed

Effect: Requires both hands; cannot use with shield.

Two-Handed weapons demand the wielder’s full attention. Sledgehammers, greatswords, mauls. The wielder cannot use a shield, hold a torch, or otherwise occupy their off-hand while wielding the weapon.

Stun

status

Effect: On a Critical hit, the target must roll GRIT + Resilience vs TN 11 or become Stunned.

Stun weapons deliver concussive force — heavy impact, blunt edges, weighted strikes. Brass Knuckles, the Sledgehammer, and similar weapons can rattle a target’s senses on a clean hit. The Stunned condition prevents most actions for one turn.
