Deny the Hum

Effect

For 1 hour, the immediate area (Close range, centered on you) is shielded from the ambient influence of the Current:

• The Hum is inaudible within the area
• Mirrors within the area behave normally (no Veil reflections, no moving shadows)
• Sleep within the area is undisturbed by Current-induced nightmares
• Thin Place effects within the area are suppressed (time flows normally, environmental Erosion doesn’t apply)

This is the Bastion Soul’s campsite Talent. When the party rests in the wilderness, Deny the Hum lets them sleep without Veil dreams, lets them use mirrors safely, and provides a pocket of normalcy in a world that has forgotten what normal means.
