Effect
Touch the target (melee attack roll if unwilling). You implant a biological construct inside them — a mass of living tissue that grows, feeds on the host, and obeys your commands. The construct deals 1 damage per turn (ignoring AR) and can be commanded to:
- Restrain: The host is Immobilized as internal tendrils grip their skeleton
- Silence: The host cannot speak as the construct presses on vocal cords
- Torment: The host takes 2 Strain per turn instead of 1 damage (psychic pain from the growth)
- Erupt: The construct tears free, dealing 4 damage to the host and creating a small, short-lived biological servitor (HP 4, Pool 4, WR 2, lasts 1 minute)
Duration: Until the construct is removed (Purge, Medicine TN 15 surgery) or until it Erupts.
Resist
GRIT + Resilience vs. your Channeling Sum prevents implantation.
Steps
+1 damage per turn per Step.
Special
This is body horror incarnate. The host can feel the construct moving inside them. It is, by any reasonable standard, torture. The ethical implications should give players pause.
