This is a Fear effect — targets immune to Fear are immune to Ill Omen. Unlike The Fatal Reading (which describes a specific death and debuffs for the scene), Ill Omen is a quick, minor curse — a Cantrip-level tax on the enemy’s confidence. Useful for softening a target before an ally’s attack.
