Effect
For 10 minutes, you reverse the flow of the Current in the affected Near range area. Instead of bleeding through the Veil and corroding reality, the Current strengthens the barrier:
- All Psionics within the area heal 2 Erosion (the Current repairs what it usually damages)
- All Veil-Born creatures within the area take 4 damage per turn (the reversed flow is anathema to them)
- The Tension Pool is reduced to 0 and cannot increase for the duration
- Thin Places within the area are sealed (as Veil Suture, but permanent for the duration of this Talent)
- The area feels wrong to Psionics — the power flows backward, and using it is like breathing underwater. All Channeling within the area has its TN increased by +4.
Special
The reversed Current is visible — a faint luminescence that flows upward, like rain falling toward the sky. The sensation is indescribable. Psionics report feeling their Erosion literally drain away, replaced by a warmth they haven’t felt since before they first touched the Current. For some, it’s the closest thing to peace they’ve ever known.
