Effect
You merge with your Bonded Focus firearm. For the rest of the scene, you become a living weapon:
- Your body is partially metallic — gain AR 3 (does not stack with worn armor)
- Your hand is the barrel: fire at Tempo 2 (no draw required, ever), and your shots are exempt from Exposure
- Your attacks deal WR + 2
- You are immune to Disarm, and Salt Rounds deal only half their normal Disruption effect (Focus check allowed at +4 Roll Bonus)
- You can fire Ghost Bullets at will with no Strain cost (Rank 1 only — still requires a Channeling roll)
The Price Beyond Memory
When the scene ends, the separation is agonizing. Take 1d8 Strain (excess converts to Erosion). Your weapon is undamaged, but your hand is burned and blackened — −1 die to Finesse checks for 24 hours.
Aftermath
You forget one sense permanently from the burned Memory. Not the Memory itself (that’s already gone) — but if the Memory was “the smell of rain on the day I fell in love,” you will never fully smell rain again.
