Effect

Trigger: You are hit by an attack.

Retroactively declare that you Dove to cover before the attack. You must have cover available within half your Speed. Reduce damage by your ECHO rating and gain the cover bonus for subsequent attacks.

Once per scene. No Steps — this is a binary defensive Reaction.

Special

Subject to the Seer Reaction Convention. Pairs unusually well with Glimpse — if Glimpse fails to turn the hit into a miss, Precognitive Dodge can still salvage the damage retroactively.
