Effect
The target returns to life at 1 HP.
Requirement
Target must have died within the last hour. Body must be mostly intact.
Special
The Price (target):
- Permanently loses 1 ECHO (their soul is cracked)
- Gains a permanent Derangement or physical mutation (GM’s choice)
- Is forever “Cold” to the touch — body temperature never fully returns
- Cannot be resurrected again (one trip through death is the limit)
The Caster’s Price: You burn a Memory and take 2d6 Strain (which may convert to Erosion if it exceeds your cap).
What Comes Back: The target returns with all their memories — but something else may have noticed the door opening. The Tension Pool gains +2 dice when Resurrection is performed.
