Effect

Touch a Thin Place or Veil breach. After the initial Channeling roll, sustain Channeling for 10 minutes. On completion, you permanently damage the Veil’s ability to thin in this exact location:

The Thin Place is sealed permanently. It can never thin again at this exact location.
Veil-Born creatures cannot manifest within Far range of the scar for 1 month.
The Tension Pool’s maximum capacity increases by 1 permanently while the party is within the scarred area.

Special

The scar is visible — a permanent discoloration in the air, like a bruise on reality. Other Psionics who see it feel discomfort. The Circle of Ash has mixed feelings about Veil Scars: they are effective, but they are also wounds upon wounds. Some argue scarring the Veil is no better than tearing it. The debate is unresolved.
