Effect
Your next shot deals normal damage and forces the target to make an ECHO + Resilience check vs. your Channeling Sum. Failure: the target gains 1 Erosion. This is one of the only ways to inflict Erosion on another creature through combat.

Special
Veil-Born creatures are immune to the Erosion effect (they are already of the Current). All other creatures, including mundane humans, have an Erosion track (ECHO + 5) and are vulnerable. Against a mundane target, this can be devastating — an untrained mind has little Erosion capacity to spare.
