Effect
Trigger: A creature within Touch range has just died (within 1 round of death).
You convert the dying creature’s life force into healing energy. All willing creatures within Near range heal HP equal to the dead creature’s maximum Vitality. Additionally:
- All Grievous Wounds on affected creatures are cleared
- All Strain on affected creatures is cleared
- All Bleeding conditions stop
- All temporary conditions (Suppressed, Blinded, Stunned) end
Requirement
The creature must have been alive within the last round — you cannot use this on a corpse that’s been dead for hours. The dead creature’s body is consumed — reduced to ash and dust. There is nothing left to bury.
This is not a Reaction. The trigger establishes when the Talent can be cast, but the Channeling takes the full Tempo 5 (during which the caster can be interrupted, attacked, or Disrupted normally).
Special
The Cost Beyond Memory: You burn a Memory and gain 2 Erosion immediately (the act of converting death to life tears at your soul) — this is reflected in the compound cost.
The ethical dimension is brutal: to save your allies, you must watch someone die and harvest them. Some Flesh Shapers have killed wounded enemies specifically to fuel this Talent. The Circle does not discuss it openly.
