The Wet Strings

Effect

Touch the target (melee attack roll if unwilling). You seize control of their motor functions by directly manipulating their muscles, tendons, and nerves. Unlike the Mindweaver’s Puppet Strings (which controls through the mind), this is biological — mental defenses don’t apply.

You dictate movement and physical actions for 10 Ticks. The target is fully conscious and aware — they feel everything but can control nothing below the neck.

Resist

IRON + Resilience vs. your Channeling Sum (resists through physical strength, not mental fortitude). Can attempt to break free at the end of each turn (same check).

Steps

+5 Ticks duration per Step.

Special

The Suicide Limit does NOT apply — you’re not influencing will, you’re pulling muscles. You can make the target’s body harm itself. This is why Flesh Shapers are feared as much as Mindweavers — arguably more, because Iron Will and Poker Face don’t help you here.
