Effect
Target one creature within Near range. They become trapped in a loop of their own surface thoughts. The target is aware of their surroundings but cannot focus — they are Dazed (−3 dice Pool Penalty to all actions) for 5 Ticks.
They can still move, react, and defend, but complex actions (Channeling, Called Shots, Extended Checks) are impossible.
Resist
ECHO + Focus vs. your Channeling Sum ends the effect early (initial roll on activation; further resist attempts at end of each affected turn).
Steps
+3 Ticks duration per Step.
Special
Renamed from “Echo Chamber” in development to avoid conflict with the Psy-Slinger Talent of that name. Both effects are distinct: Thought Loop traps the target in their own mind; Echo Chamber (Psy-Slinger) amplifies a sound to disrupt enemies.
