Veil Suture

Effect

Touch a Thin Place — an area where the Veil is worn and the Current bleeds through. Temporarily seal it for 24 hours:

• The Thin Place ceases to function as such (Channeling bonuses from Thin Places are removed; environmental Erosion stops)
• Veil-Born creatures cannot enter or exit through the sealed area
• The Tension Pool’s maximum capacity increases by 1 (the world is slightly more stable) for the duration

+24 hours duration per Step.

Special

This is one of the most valuable utilities in the game. The ability to seal Thin Places — even temporarily — can turn a death-trap location into a survivable one. The Circle of Ash desperately wants Bastion Souls who can do this. The Consortium wants to capture and study them.
